I really like Xbox! Conversations<br /><br />There’s no school that can prepare you better about chatting than working as a night club manager for 5 years. Even if you’re in the shitiest mood you’ll need to look like you just came up with the next Fiat Ecodrive concept.<br /><br />I enjoy a good conversation. I was 21 and the nightclub manager of Sweden's IT spot for the younger crowd together with my 2 best friends. We sold 500 bottles of champagne that night on a total of 1000 guests. I think I'll never live to see a wilder night.<br /><br />During my 5 years as a partner of the company I managed several clubs and restaurants. Top that with numerous sporting tournaments, seminars, business events and dinner parties. <br /><br />I got out of the business when I moved abroad. I still DJ and throw big parties every now and then when I'm in town to maintain my network though. Molecular<br /><br />Boston is beautiful in the autumn. I had a creative renaissance there, inspired by culture, color, arts, design and warm people. <br /><br />The company is an interactive experience design firm. They craft digital business solutions for companies that wants to become more efficient by giving their customers a richer experience. <br /><br />During the 3 months I was there I mainly focused on art directing and graphic design, but also got to work on a strategic level. Studentmaklarna AB<br /><br />The legal drinking age in Sweden on restaurants and clubs is 18. We educated 400 youngsters every year on how to drink responsible together with the Swedish Government. These 400 would teach the rest of their friends in order to get us as their planners for their final graduation party.<br /><br />This was the second company I partnered in and we planned 200 graduation events every year aside of the Nightclub manager business. Ogilvy<br /><br />There was a designer at Ogilivy when I did my 2 week internship that saw me drinking a can of that crazy energy drink - Monster... <br /><br />Would you agree with me if I said that it looks like a beer can?<br /><br />Well, the designer instinctively thought so and pulled up to my desk with a grim on his face asking me why I was drinking beer at work.<br /><br />Apart of the fact that package design is crucial, I gained better understanding on strategic perspectives as I shadowed their planners on Ogilvy's IBM and DHL accounts. The client wanted to market Sweden to young urban Mumbai-ers. <br /><br />13 generic keynotes had went down when I stepped on scene. We had prepared so that the lights would go off and my colleagues would close all the doors and put black socks on their heads. Kungsgatan 0 - Office for free<br /><br />My group was given the task to explore new ways of selling the products of Diligentia, one of Sweden's biggest estate agencies. <br /><br />To be frank, the brief was so open, its only limit was that it had to concern office space. They asked us to pitch a concept that rather inspired the target group, than pushed to sales.<br /><br /> Imagine if the skate park was a canvas and the boards were colors. Virgin Money - Pet Insurances<br /><br />It's a pitch on how a branded digital service can help Virgin Money get more customers and increased satisfaction. <br /><br />We've delivered the designs of a product, service and marketing tool in one that will help Virgin's customers to monitor their pet's health. The concept is connected to an insurance deal at Virgin Pet Insurances.<br /><br />Now click the icon to see the case. One Show<br />Imagine if you could be a rock star for one day. I was in charge of the strategy, conceptualized and wrote our way to the 3rd place out of 20.000 students worldwide. <br /><br />The 7th of May 2009, my team flew to New Yorks One Show Festival to receive a check and a bronze plated pencil with our names engraved. <br /><br /> The day before I had attended a big ceremony in the City Hall in Stockholm where I was named Swedens second best student in media and communication. 24 hours of fame.<br /><br />Click on the icon to see why. During mine I spilled some lemonade on the MacBook Pro I was given. <br /><br />Just some months earlier I was handpicked from Berghs to Isobar's training program. I worked 25 hours a week at my own company and completed a full time education at Berghs School of Communication on Interactive Communication with focus on web strategy. <br /><br />On my spare time I worked on several national and international competitions. I won 2 bronze, 2 silver and 2 gold awards, one of them being a One Show Pencil. In the end my school was named the best communication school in the world in Cannes. <br /><br />Even though I have a lot of gray hair, I feel fortunate that I got to collaborate with some of the best students and teachers on the planet. Karolinska Institutet <br /><br />I never wanted to become a doctor, but my parents encouraged me to try that road, back in 03-04. So I took Anatomy, Patology and a Computer Architecture 'course at Karolinska Institutet. It wasn't for me. Viktor Rydbergs Gymnasium <br /><br />My science teacher laughed at me when I told her I wanted to go to Sweden’s highest ranked upper secondary school.<br /><br />The year was 98 and I was only 14 years old. I pledged myself to prove her wrong, scored top grades, got a scholarship for my efforts and got in. Student of the Year<br><br />Could a competition have a fancier title than Swedens best student in media and communication? <br /><br />Little did I know that the jury would fall for a semantic news aggregator for mobile phones. Well almost, I couldn't claim the snazzy title with a second place. Golden Key Awards<br /><br />The best agencies in Sweden gathered at this big ceremony and saw me and my two colleagues collect a 10.000 kronor check, gold keys and diplomas. What a rush. <br /><br />The Golden Key is a national competition that celebrates direct marketing between agencies and fortunately they had a student brief. Young Lions<br /><br />Have you ever felt that you wanted to wound your competitor by putting laxatives in their coffee mug?<br /><br />Well I did, our duo placed second for our work on a qualifier brief with the grand prize to represent Sweden in a global competition in Cannes. <br /><br />The Swedish Advertising Board put us on hold so that we could step in if the winner would get sick.<br /><br />I even got down just in case they would need me. It felt more of a punishment than an award in the end. Shanghai Challenge<br /><br />We pitched a streaming solution for the Swedish telecom giant 3. With a techy idea that pulled data from your computer to your phone on a cloud interface for mobiles.<br /><br />We didn't win the trip to Shanghai though, with our 3rd place.
